During the Age of Discovery in the 16th century, Portuguese navigators, upon seeing this island from afar, exclaimed, "Ilha Formosa!" — Beautiful Island. Since then, "Formosa" has become one of Taiwan's most legendary names. This collection is inspired by this history, reinterpreting the spirit of island exploration and navigation through watch design. The watch dial features a three-dimensional relief of Taiwan's topography, with intricate carving showcasing the mountain ranges and island contours. As the light changes, the topographical textures on the dial reveal three-dimensional layers, much like a satellite terrain map. It's as if the entire island has been miniaturized and placed upon your wrist.

Compass Dial: Guiding Your Adventures

The overall watch dial design incorporates elements of a nautical compass. The central indices and starburst lines form the compass structure, with the compass-shaped second hand serving as a design highlight. As the second hand rotates, it's as if a compass needle is continuously adjusting its direction during a voyage, symbolizing the courage to explore the unknown. Each passing moment is like the next leg of a journey.

Introduction to the Handcrafted Collector's Box

The collector's box was designed to combine elegance and practicality, adhering to the brand's consistent all-black style. It features a high-quality, all-black leather handcrafted box, with an opening mechanism and size similar to a ring box. This design not only makes it easy to store without taking up much space, but also adds a sense of ceremony when opened, conveying the premium feel of the timepiece.

Exclusive Space-Grade Silicone Strap

This series features an exclusive space-grade silicone strap made from highly elastic silicone, offering a combination of lightness, flexibility, and durability. Its delicate matte texture and curved structure conform to the wrist, providing a comfortable and stable wearing experience that feels light and effortless even during extended wear. The silicone material also boasts excellent sweat and weather resistance, making it suitable for daily commuting, outdoor adventures, or sports activities.

Taiwan Topographic Relief • Micro-Sculpture 3D Craftsmanship

This series of watch dials employs precise three-dimensional relief technology to engrave the outline of Taiwan island at the center of the dial. From the undulations of the Central Mountain Range to the island's contours, everything is presented through multi-layer metal engraving and polishing techniques. Combined with a translucent dial design, the operational structure of the mechanical movement is subtly visible, creating a unique visual layering between the island's topography and the mechanical gears. It is as if beneath the island lies a precisely operating core of time.

Top-grade Sapphire Crystal ・ Double-coated Technology

We chose "top-grade sapphire crystal" with "Mohs hardness level 9", second only to diamond in hardness, which can effectively resist scratches and wear, keeping it crystal clear as new even after long-term wear. Its high light transmittance can fully present the details and texture of the dial.

At the same time, we incorporated "double-coating technology", applying "anti-reflective (AR coating)" and "anti-fingerprint (AF coating)" treatments to the crystal. This not only reduces strong glare and improves readability, but also minimizes fingerprint marks, keeping the watch face clean and bright at all times, combining aesthetics with practicality.

Japanese-Made Mechanical Movement - SEIKO NH35

This series is equipped with the Japanese-made SEIKO NH35 automatic mechanical movement. The NH35 movement is widely recognized in the mechanical watch market for its stability, durability, and precision. Key features of the movement include: automatic winding mechanism, hacking function, date display, and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. Through the semi-transparent dial and exhibition case back, the wearer can directly appreciate the mechanical rhythm of the gears, balance wheel, and mainspring. Time is not just numbers; it is a continuously operating mechanical art.
