SPACE TELESCOPE SERIES

Explore the vast universe and discover its mysteries. This series is inspired by two epoch-making space telescopes, the Hubble Space Telescope, which was launched in 1997, and the representative of modern observation: the James Webb Space Telescope, which was launched in 2021. The designer uses the perspective of a space telescope to penetrate the nebula and gaze into the depths of the universe, and incorporates details such as mirror structure, conceptual structure, and optical axis elements into the time vehicle. The Space Eye series of watches features a technological aesthetic and includes two models: “HST-SILVER” and “JWST-GOLD”.

  • Eyes in Space Series: Series Design Concepts

With every image, the universe reveals a little more of its story. "Every image is a story the universe tells us." Space telescopes reveal the secrets of the formation of galaxies, stars and planets. Through each focus and shot, scientists can observe the formation of early galaxies and trace back to the origin of the Milky Way and even the universe. The designer used it as a concept and integrated it into a watch that is also a time machine, presenting the charm of a space telescope, marking a major step in human exploration of the universe. Its innovation and cutting-edge technology allow us to have a deeper understanding of the universe we live in.

  • The Eye in Space: Watch Details

In order to combine the aesthetics and symbolism of space telescopes, the designer chose the most representative space telescopes as inspiration, namely the Hubble Space Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope. When designing the Hubble model, the designer took its "silver-white metal body" and "the cool texture like a space capsule" as the core inspiration, and extended it from the visual elements of its cylindrical body, telescope mouth cover and large round mirror structure, using "circle" as the overall design language. From the dial, hands to the detailed decoration, it presents a strong sense of machinery and industrial technology, symbolizing the great milestone of human observation of the universe in the past thirty years. In the design of the Weber model, the designer took inspiration from its most representative "18 hexagonal golden main mirrors", which are arranged like a honeycomb. Combining the golden color with a futuristic folding structure, the “hexagon” is used as the main design axis and applied to details such as the case and minute hand, showing an extreme sci-fi style, symbolizing the new generation of human exploration and imagination of the depths of the universe.
