Craftsmanship Series

The Craftsmanship Series challenges various possibilities in watchmaking craftsmanship, integrating diverse crafting techniques into watch design to create handmade watches with diverse and unique aesthetics. All products in the Craftsmanship Series are handmade in limited quantities. We welcome you to appreciate them at our Taipei distributor.

Design Concept

Craft: Black Roiro Polishing + Chinkin
1. Apply 3-4 coats of black urushi lacquer (high hardness, good luster)
2. Each coat must be sanded with #600-#800 whetstones
3. Finish sanding up to #2000 whetstones
4. Polish with Roiro 10 times to create luster
5. Use a Chinkin knife to carve grooves on the surface, first filling with clear lacquer
Then fill with gold powder (pure gold keshi-fun - Gomo-iro 98% gold content)

2. With CLASSIC case: Dial diameter 36mm: Up to 10 Chinese/English characters / numbers / spaces per line (Max 1 line)
3. With TOUGH case: Dial diameter 40mm: Up to 10 Chinese/English characters / numbers / spaces per line (Max 3 lines)

Exquisite Handmade Collector's Box

For the watch packaging box design, we planned for the storage function of a collector's box, allowing different watch components to have their dedicated spaces. The outer packaging also continues the classic style of yunivers hsieh, maintaining a low-key black aesthetic, and enhancing the quality of the gift box through small details, such as the velvet material of the storage compartments and the tactile experience of opening and closing.
