Design Concept

During the creation of the watch dial, Ariel repeatedly pondered the relationship between time, the dial, and people. The dial materializes abstract time, as if preserving moments. Flowers wither with the passage of time, creating a conflicting yet connected relationship. The invention of the watch allows us to record the beautiful memories we once had. It seems to remind us that life is short, and it doesn't have to be spectacularly exciting to be worthwhile. The trivialities of daily life are also a beautiful part of life. In a busy life, don't forget to enjoy the sparks of life in the present.

About the Artist: Ariel was born in Taiwan and moved to Australia for high school. She graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a major in Fine Arts and pursued her master's degree at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Her works are vibrant and lively, oscillating between abstract and concrete, filled with infinite imagination. These seemingly childlike and story-filled paintings seem to describe unspoken emotions and connections between nature and people. Ariel's works repeatedly reflect on how cultural and environmental changes affect emotions, finding a gentle and spiritually healing aesthetic in her soft colors. Through painting, she discovered the healing power of nature and hopes to share it with everyone.
