Design Concept

The Taiwanese team designed and developed a brand new Damascus steel watch, launched by designer Da-Yu Hsieh, in collaboration with a Taiwanese metal technology factory. This series of 100-layer Damascus steel watches embodies the exquisite craftsmanship that blends historical culture with modern technology.

Damascus steel, also known as "the silk of steel," is a craft that combines both performance and aesthetics. It was the perfect metallurgical technique pursued by ancient people and is also one of the world's heritage items, representing the most challenging metal forging technique currently. Due to the extremely complex and time-consuming process of forging Damascus steel, it is an exquisite craft that integrates historical culture with modern technology.
