Design Concept

A Taiwanese team designed and developed a brand new Damascus steel watch, launched by designer Hsieh Da-Yu, in collaboration with a Taiwanese metal technology factory. This collection fuses historical culture with modern technology to create a stunning masterpiece: a 100-layer Damascus steel watch.

Damascus steel, also known as "the silk of steel," is a craft that combines performance and aesthetics. It was the perfect metallurgical technology sought by ancient people and is also one of the world's heritage items, representing the most difficult metal forging technique currently. Due to the extremely complex and time-consuming process of forging Damascus steel, it is a stunning craft that combines historical culture with modern technology.
