Design Concept

The Taiwanese team designed and developed a brand-new Damascus steel watch, launched by designer Da-Yu Hsieh, in collaboration with a Taiwanese metal technology factory. This collection combines historical culture with modern technology to create exquisite craftsmanship, resulting in the hundred-layered Damascus steel watch collection.

Damascus steel, also known as "the silk of steel," is a craft that embodies both performance and aesthetics. It was the perfect metallurgical technique sought after by ancient people and is one of the world's heritage items, representing the most challenging metal forging technique currently. Due to the extremely complex and time-consuming process of forging Damascus steel, it is an exquisite craft that blends historical culture with modern technology.
