Interstellar Space Series: Series Design Concept

Time is relative. It’s relative to where you are, what you do, and who you are waiting for. (Interstellar, 2014). In the universe, time has always been a unique entity—something perceptible yet difficult to define. In terms of representation, a perfect circle seems flawless but is actually quite unnatural; in the dimensions of the cosmos, the distorted ellipse is the norm, as seen in the trajectories of celestial bodies, the effects of gravity, and the lines of space-time curvature. We therefore reintroduced this "distortion" into the vessels humans use to display time, and thus, the Interstellar Space series was born.

Interstellar Space Collection: Watch Details

To achieve the oblique oval form, we reconfigured the internal structure by rotating the movement, adjusting the strap attachment points, and designing a unique case back shape. The overall design features curves and mirror polishing to evoke the aesthetic of an extraterrestrial spacecraft. The design techniques for each model in this series are: 1. Light Speed: We redesigned the 12 o'clock marker with varying lengths to convey the sense of speed of light. 2. Black Hole: Utilizing black PVD plating and concentric circular patterns to present the mysterious solemnity of a black hole. 3. Big Bang: Featuring metal appliques radiating from the 12 o'clock position, complemented by sword-shaped hands with a full mirror finish. 4. Golden Planet: Finished in a light champagne gold, the watch incorporates metal appliques featuring oval longitudinal and latitudinal lines to showcase the beauty and grandeur of a golden planet.

The design of the collector's box combines elegance with practicality. Maintaining the brand's signature all-black aesthetic, we have selected a high-quality, handcrafted all-black leather case.
