Craft Series

The Craft Series challenges various possibilities in watchmaking craftsmanship, integrating diverse crafting techniques into watch design to create handcrafted timepieces with diverse and unique aesthetics. All products in the Craft Series are handcrafted in limited quantities. We welcome you to appreciate them at our distributor in Taipei City.

Design Concept

Craft: Iro-Urushi Roiro-shiage + Chinkin
1. Use high-transparency "Kijiro transparent lacquer"
2. Mix "Ōkan-Shu - Akakuchi pigment powder" to create Akakuchi lacquer
3. Apply 3-4 layers of Akakuchi lacquer
4. Each layer must be ground with #600-#800 whetstone
5. Finish grinding up to #2000 whetstone
6. Roiro polishing 10 times to produce a sheen
7. Use a Chinkin knife to carve indentations on the surface, first filling with transparent lacquer
Then fill with gold powder (pure gold dusting powder - Gomo-iro 98% gold content)

2. With CLASSIC case: Dial diameter 36mm: Max 10 Chinese/English characters / numbers / spaces per line (up to 1 line)
3. With TOUGH case: Dial diameter 40mm: Max 10 Chinese/English characters / numbers / spaces per line (up to 3 lines)

Exquisite Handcrafted Collector's Box

For the watch packaging box design, we planned the storage functionality of a collector's box, allowing different watch components to have their dedicated spaces. The outer packaging also continues yunivers hsieh's classic style, maintaining a low-key black aesthetic, and further enhancing the gift box's quality through small details, such as the velvet material of the storage compartments and the tactile experience of opening and closing.
